Your favorite local in the heart of Larnaca since 2012

Ever since I was young my dream was to own a cafe and now I am lucky enough to live my dream.

Having grown up locally, near to St Lazarus Church I knew the area very well. One day I drove past our shop in early 2012 and saw it was available. Having discussed my dream with my husband and also researched and studied various places throughout Europe and the rest of the world through our travels he told me to go for it! I fell in love with the Listed building, it had so much character with the high ceiling beams!

My initial plan was to open a small coffee shop with homemade cakes, as we still make and serve today and a small selection of homemade food items.

Year on year we could see the demand was high and growing so we grew!

Until eventually in 2020 we opened the upstairs part of our restaurant and became an all day venue serving, breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Having the upstairs space helps us in the winter and also on the hot days of the summer with our air-conditioned area.

We wanted create an international menu with all of our favourite dishes we have tried throughout our travels and also what we cook at home.

I am very fortunate to have worked and still work with such a great team. This is what I feel sets us apart from the rest as well as our amazing homemade cakes and delicious food.

I have made so many friends for life working at To Kafe Tis Chrysanthis from our lovely staff to loyal customers and this is probably the greatest success and meaningful thing I have taken from opening back in 2012.
